George Cassedy
George Cassedy (September 16, 1783 – December 31, 1842) was a United States House of Representatives, U.S. Representative from New Jersey. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, Cassedy attended the common schools, where he studied law. He was admitted to the bar in 1809 and commenced practice in Hackensack, and became the postmaster of Hackensack from June 10, 1805, to January 1, 1806. He owned slaves. Cassedy was elected as a Democratic-Republican to the Seventeenth Congress, reelected as a Jacksonian Democratic-Republican to the Eighteenth Congress, and reelected as a Jacksonian to the Nineteenth Congress (March 4, 1821 – March 3, 1827). He died in Hackensack, December 31, 1842, and was interred there in the First Reformed Dutch Church, Hackensack, First Reformed Dutch Church Cemetery.George Cassedy

Isaac Pierson
Isaac Pierson (August 15, 1770 – September 22, 1833) represented in the United States House of Representatives from 1827 to 1831. Early life Pierson was born on August 15, 1770 in Orange, New Jersey, Orange in the Province of New Jersey. He was the third child of Dr. Matthias Pierson and Phebe (née Nutman) Pierson. He descends from an early colonial immigrant, Thomas Pierson, Sr. (brother of Abraham Pierson, the elder, Rev. Abraham Pierson) who was one of the founders of Newark, New Jersey. He attended private schools, and graduated from Princeton University, Princeton College in 1789. He studied medicine, graduated from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, and commenced practice in Orange. Career He was elected assessor of Orange on April 13, 1807, and served one year, and served as sheriff of Essex County, New Jersey, Essex County from 1807 to 1809. Joseph Bloomfield
Joseph Bloomfield (October 18, 1753October 3, 1823) was the fourth governor of New Jersey. He also served two terms in the United States House of Representatives from 1817 to 1821. The township of Bloomfield, New Jersey is named for him. Birth Joseph Bloomfield was born in Woodbridge in the Province of New Jersey to Moses Bloomfield, a physician, and Sarah Ogden on October 18, 1753. Moses Bloomfield was a surgeon and an abolitionist. Education and military service Joseph was educated at Reverend Enoch Green’s school in Deerfield Township, New Jersey, where Green was the pastor of the local Presbyterian Church. Bloomfield studied law, was admitted to the bar in 1775 and began his law practice in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
