Geoff Tyson
Geoff Tyson (also referred to as Jeff Tyson) played guitar for T-Ride, whose debut album shared the same title. He was a student of Joe Satriani, and one of two students Satriani has said 'Graduated' from his lessons (the other being Steve Vai). Songs from the album were used in various motion pictures and television shows including ''Luxury Cruiser'' in the soundtrack of 1992's ''Encino Man'', ''Zombies from Hell'' in the movie ''Captain Ron'' and ''Bone Down'' in an episode of ''Baywatch, Forbidden Paradise-part 2''. T-Ride toured the world with Ugly Kid Joe, Joe Satriani, White Zombie, Tora Tora and Asphalt Ballet. Tyson went on to perform and record with Snake River Conspiracy and toured with Filter, Monster Magnet, Queens Of The Stone Age and A Perfect Circle. In 2003, Tyson created the band Stimulator with singer Susan Hyatt, and they signed a record deal with Universal Music in 2005. T-Ride
T-Ride was an American, San Francisco-based heavy metal band, which was noted for its complex instrument and vocal arrangements. Their eponymous debut album was released in 1992. The band was compared to Queen and Van Halen, and the album received glowing reviews, including Joe Satriani describing them as "the future of metal". Despite this, the group disbanded before finishing their second album. Stimulator is an alternative rock band based in Los Angeles, California. The band was founded in 2002 by singer/songwriter Susan Hyatt (formerly of Pillbox) and guitarist Geoff Tyson (formerly of T-Ride and Snake River Conspiracy). Goblin (also Back to the Goblin, New Goblin, Goblin Rebirth, the Goblin Keys, the Goblins and Claudio Simonetti's Goblin) is an Italian progressive rock band known for their film scores. They frequently collaborate with Dario Argento, most notably creating the scores for ''Profondo Rosso'' in 1975 and ''Suspiria'' in 1977. Because their collaborator Dario Argento specializes in creating horror, suspense and slasher/giallo genre movies, scores made by Goblin in these movies often had eerie and ominous tones. "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is a song written and performed by the Charlie Daniels, Charlie Daniels Band and released on their 1979 album ''Million Mile Reflections''. The song is written in the key of D minor. Vassar Clements originally wrote the basic melody an octave lower, in a tune called "Lonesome Fiddle Blues" released on Clements' self-titled 1975 album on which Charlie Daniels played guitar. The Charlie Daniels Band moved it up an octave and put words to it. The song's verses are closer to being spoken rather than sung (i.e., recitation song, recitation), and tell the story of a young man named Johnny, in a variant on the classic deal with the Devil. Steve Ouimette
Stephen "Steve" Ouimette (born June 18, 1968) is a rock guitarist. He is known for performing a cover version of the hit song "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" (which was originally by the Charlie Daniels Band) for the video game '' Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock'', in which the parts played on the fiddle are instead played on an electric guitar by Ouimette, Ed DeGenaro and Geoff Tyson (though the lyrics remained unchanged). Aside from this track, Ouimette also recorded seven other songs for the game, and also made a version of the Christmas carol "We Three Kings" released as downloadable content for ''Guitar Hero III''.
