Geoff Millar
Geoffrey Alan Millar (born 22 November 1955) is a former Australian cricketer who played several matches for Western Australia during the early 1980s. From Perth, Millar played at colts level during the late 1970s, generally as an all-rounder. He made his Sheffield Shield debut for Western Australia during the 1981–82 competition, and failed to take a wicket in what was to be his only first-class match. In the match, against Queensland at the WACA Ground in February 1982, he was part of a pace attack that included David Boyd (who he opened the bowling with in the first innings), Mick Malone, and Ken MacLeay. Millar also appeared at List A level several times for Western Australia. In his first match, the third-place playoff of the 1981–82 McDonald's Cup, he took 2/17 and scored 30 runs, and was thus named man of the match. Subiaco (known colloquially as Subi) is an inner-Western suburbs (Perth), western suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. Mick Malone (cricketer)
Michael Francis Malone (born 9 October 1950) is a former Australian cricketer who played in one Test match and ten One Day Internationals between 1977 and 1982. Malone played one Test prior to joining World Series Cricket. In English county cricket he had a period with Lancashire. He was also an Australian rules football full-forward and played in 104 WANFL games for Subiaco. First-class career 1974–75: Debut for Western Australia Malone made his first-class debut for Western Australia on 21 February 1975, against Victoria in the Sheffield Shield. He took five wickets in the match, getting Bob Baldry twice. Mount Lawley District Cricket Club
Mount Lawley District Cricket Club is a semi-professional cricket club which plays in Western Australian Grade Cricket competition which is now referred as Western Australian Premier Cricket. The club joined the Western Australian Cricket Association "A" grade district competition as the Maylands-Mount Lawley Cricket Club in 1924-25 after having applied for entry two years earlier. The name was changed to Mount Lawley Cricket Club in 1927–28. The club's first home ground was Maylands Oval, which later became known as Shearn Park. This was granted in 1923. In 1947-48 senior matches moved to Inglewood Oval, then in October 1978 to Cornwall Reserve in Dianella. In 1982-83 the ground was renamed Breckler Park. Western Australian Grade Cricket
WA Premier Cricket in Western Australia refers to the semi-professional cricket league played at a level below the first-class Western Warriors and other state teams. The competition is administered by the Western Australian Cricket Association. It is the premier club cricket competition in Western Australia and players vying for Western Warriors and national team selection are typically chosen from Premier Cricket competition clubs. Retiring international and first-class players wishing to continue playing will generally return to their original Premier Cricket club. There are currently 16 teams in the competition. Australian Domestic Limited-overs Cricket Tournament
The One-Day Cup, known as the Marsh One-Day Cup for sponsorship reasons, is an Australian domestic List A 50-over limited-overs cricket tournament. It has had many different names, formats and teams since the inaugural 1969-1970 season. Initially a knockout cup, the competition now features a single round-robin followed by a finals series. The tournament is contested between teams representing the six states of Australia, who also compete in the first-class Sheffield Shield. Kenneth Hervey MacLeay (born 2 April 1959) is a former English-born Australian cricketer. He was an all-rounder who played 16 One Day Internationals for Australia between 1983 and 1987.
