Geoff Cross
Geoffrey Dominic Sebastian Cross (born 11 December 1982) is a Scottish former rugby union player. He played as a tight-head prop for the Border Reivers, Edinburgh and London Irish. He won 40 caps for Scotland between 2009 and 2014. He is also a qualified doctor. Career Club Cross entered professional rugby when he joined Border Reivers in 2003 from Heriot's after having played for Scotland under-21 that year, including being at tight-head in the team who beat England 33–22 at Newbury in the final match of the age group's world championship. In December 2006 Cross moved from the Border Reivers to Edinburgh on loan until the end of the season, and his debut for the capital city's team followed later that month in the Celtic League game against Glasgow Warriors at Hughenden. The move was made permanent after Cross's ten appearances during the 2006–07 season. Lee Byrne
Lee Byrne (born 1 June 1980) is a Welsh former professional rugby union and rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. Club career Byrne started his career playing rugby union for Bridgend Athletic RFC; and Tondu RFC, as a full-back or wing, and after being spotted playing rugby league for Bridgend Blue Bulls, he signed for the Llanelli Scarlets. While playing against Connacht in 2007, Byrne demonstrated his abilities as a stand-in kicker when he kicked two penalties and two conversions after fly-half Shaun Connor went off injured. Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby. It supports children and young people with disabilities or living in disadvantage in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Since 1983, Wooden Spoon has committed more than £29 million to more than 1,300 projects, supporting over 1.4 million disabled and disadvantaged children and young people. History Wooden Spoon was founded in 1983 after five England rugby supporters went to Dublin to watch England in the final game of the Five Nations Championship against the Irish. Josh Strauss (born 23 October 1986) is a South African-born Scotland international rugby union player who currently plays for Israeli side Tel Aviv Heat. He previously played for Glasgow Warriors and the Bulls. His regular playing position is flanker or number 8. Career Strauss played for the Boland Cavaliers and Maties. He has captained the Lions in Super Rugby and the Golden Lions in the Currie Cup. On 11 September 2012 Strauss signed for Glasgow Warriors on a three-year deal.
