GenÃs GarcÃa Junyent (born 7 June 1975), known simply as GenÃs, is a Spanish former footballer. Mainly a central defender, he could also operate as a defensive midfielder. Club career Born in Sabadell, Barcelona, Catalonia, GenÃs was a product of FC Barcelona's prolific youth ranks, ''La Masia''. He could only play five matches for the reserves over the course of two Segunda División seasons, due to a severe knee injury. Sabadell
Sabadell () is a city in Catalonia, Spain. It is in the south of the ''comarca'' of Vallès Occidental and its joint capital (co-capital), on the River Ripoll, north of Barcelona. Sabadell is located above sea level. Sabadell pioneered the Industrial Revolution in Catalonia with its textile mills, together with its archrival Terrassa. Club Esportiu Europa is a List of football clubs in Spain, Spanish football team based in the city of Barcelona in the district of Grà cia, in the autonomous community of Catalonia.
