Gennadiy Dmitriyevich Kondrashov (russian: Геннадий Дмитриевич Кондрашов; born 8 December 1938 in Zugres, Sverdlovsk Oblast) is a retired male hammer thrower, who competed for the Soviet Union at the 1968 Summer Olympics. The Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU, en, International University Sports Federation) is responsible for the organization and governance of worldwide sports competitions for student-athletes between the ages of 17 and 25. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad".
