''Generation 1000 Euros'' ( it, Generazione 1000 euro, also known as ''The 1000 Euros Generation'' and ''Generazione mille euro'') is a 2009 Italian comedy film written and directed by Massimo Venier. It is loosely based on a novel with the same name written by Antonio Incorvaia and Alessandro Rimassa. The film received two nominations at Nastri d'Argento Awards, for best comedy film and for best supporting actress (Valentina Lodovini). The film was released on April 24, 2009. Carolina Crescentini (born 18 April 1980 in Rome) is an Italian actress. She is a graduate of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, and star of the box office hit movie Parlami d'amore, directed by Silvio Muccino. Roberto Citran (born 26 January 1955) is an Italian actor. Life and career Born in Padua, Citran graduated in psychology and founded the university film club "CINEMAUNO" in his hometown. After some sporadic stage works he founded a small theater company, "Punto e Virgola". Citran is probably best known for his films with the director Carlo Mazzacurati, Paduan like him, who made him debuting in a main role in 1989, in ''Il prete bello''. Paolo Villaggio
Paolo Villaggio (; 30 December 1932 – 3 July 2017) was an Italian actor, voice actor, writer, director and comedian. He is noted for the characters he created with paradoxical and grotesque characteristics: Professor Kranz, the ultra-timid Giandomenico Fracchia, and the obsequious and meek accountant Ugo Fantozzi, perhaps the favourite character in Italian comedy. He wrote several books, usually of satirical character. He also acted in dramatic roles, and appeared in several movies. Early life Paolo Villaggio was born in Genova, to Ettore Villaggio (1905–1992), a surveyor originally from Palermo, and Maria, originally from Venice, a German-language teacher. Giuliano Taviani (born 1969) is an Italian composer. Life and career Born in Rome, Taviani is the son of the director and screenwriter Vittorio.
