General Caballero SC is an association football club from Zeballos Cué, Asunción, Paraguay. The club was founded September 6, 1918 and plays in the Primera División B, the third division of the Paraguayan football league. Their home games are played at the Estadio Hugo Bogado Vaceque which has a capacity of approximately 5,000 seats. Jorge Samaniego
Jorge Samaniego (1947 - August 12, 1987) was a dancer with the New York City Opera Ballet, Western Ballet, Nederlands Dans Theater, and Milwaukee Ballet. He choreographed for Puerto Rican Dance Theater and the Des Moines Ballet in Iowa. In 1981 he choreographed a PBS production of ''Romeo and Juliet'', in which he played the role of Mercutio. His company was called the Samaniego Dance Gallery, established in 1977. Dance Magazine reports: "His annual stagings of ''A Christmas Carol'', ''Peter and the Wolf'', and ''The Nutcracker'' were holiday favorites in southern California." Salvador Cabañas Ortega (born 5 August 1980) is a Paraguayan former professional footballer who played as a striker. Cabañas played for Club 12 de Octubre, Guaraní, Audax Italiano, Chiapas, Club América, General Caballero, Tanabi and Independiente F.B.C. His football career saw him play in Paraguay, Chile, Mexico and Brazil. Aldo Andrés Paniagua Benítez (born 12 July 1989 in Independencia, Paraguay) is a Paraguayan footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career Paniagua began his youth career with General Caballero ZC and made his first team debut with the club in 2007. After the 2008 season he joined 12 de Octubre and was a regular starter for the club at right midfield.
