Gen (film)
''Gen'' is a 2006 Turkish horror film directed by Togan Gökbakar. Plot A newly appointed doctor witnesses a series of murders in a hospital which no one can reach due to heavy snow. Everybody is suspicious of each other and searching for the killer, moreover, due to the heavy snow, no one can reach the hospital and telephone lines are jammed. In three days, the hospital, which has been quiet and peaceful over the years, faces a terror that turns nightmares into reality. Togan Gökbakar (born 29 May 1984) is a Turkish film Film director, director. Biography Togan Gökbakar studied in the Cinema and TV Department at Istanbul Bilgi University and his 2004 graduate short film ''Run Daddy Run'' was shown at the If Istanbul and Altın Koza film festivals where it won a prize in the student category. His first features was the 2006 Turkish horror film ''Gen (film), Gen'' from a story idea by Alper Mestçi and his older brother Şahan Gökbakar, who also made a cameo appearance in the film. Yurdaer Okur (born 29 October 1974) is a Turkish film, television and stage actor. Life and career Yurdaer Okur was born on 29 October 1974 in Rize. After finishing his high school in Bafra, he enrolled in Akdeniz University's tourism management program. Şahan Gökbakar (born 22 October 1980) is a Turkish comedian, actor and producer. Early life Born in İzmir, Gökbakar grew up in Turkey's capital, Ankara, attending the primary school and high school attached to the Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ).
