The Skeksis are a fictional species that serves as the main antagonists in the 1982 film ''The Dark Crystal'' and its related franchise. Alice Catherine Dinnean (born May 23, 1969) is an American puppeteer, voice actress and creative writer who works at The Jim Henson Company. Dinnean has performed on many children's television shows such as ''The Puzzle Place'', ''Sesame Street'', ''Bear in the Big Blue House'', ''Cousin Skeeter'', ''Jim Henson's Pajanimals'', ''Sid the Science Kid'' and ''Jack's Big Music Show''. Percy Edwards (1 June 1908 – 7 June 1996) was an English animal impersonator, entertainer and ornithologist. Biography As a child, Edwards was fascinated by the wildlife he found in his local area, and by the age of 12 was accomplished enough at imitating many of them that this became his "party piece". In 1930 he debuted on the BBC radio series ''Vaudeville'', the start of a career that would last the best part of 60 years. During World War II, Edwards worked at Ransomes, Sims & Jefferies in Ipswich. Edwards became a household name after his animal imitations in the radio shows ''Ray's a Laugh'' with Ted Ray, and playing Psyche the dog in the radio series ''A Life of Bliss.'' David Buck
David Keith Rodney Buck (17 October 1933 – 27 January 1989) was an English actor. Buck was born in London, the son of Joseph Buck and Enid Marguerite (née Webb). Stephen Garlick
Stephen Garlick (born 7 July 1959) is a British actor best known as the voice of Jen in '' Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal''. His career has centered on film, television and radio. At the age of five he attended the famous Corona Academy stage school. As most children of his age he did a few television commercials. In 1965 he featured in a documentary called ''A Day of Peace'', directed by noted film director Peter Collinson. Garlick had a non-speaking part as a small boy with a potty stuck on his head in ''Carry On Doctor'' (1967). He appeared in two films in the 1960s made by the Children's Film Foundation.
