Geelong Soccer Club is an Australian soccer club based in Geelong, Australia founded in 1958 by Geelong's Macedonian Australian community. In 2019, Geelong SC obtained National Premier Leagues Victoria status after being crowned 2018 champions of Football Victoria State League 1 North-West. Geelong SC is based at Genis Steel Park which is located in the Stead Park Sports Precinct in Corio, Victoria and is strongly supported by the Macedonian community of Geelong. History Early history The Geelong Soccer and Sports Club was established in the early 1950s as a way of playing soccer and socialising. Sam Mason-Smith (born 25 October 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Miramar Rangers in the New Zealand National League. The National Premier Leagues Victoria 2, commonly referred to as NPL Victoria 2, is a semi-professional soccer league in Victoria, Australia. The league is the second-highest in the Victorian league system, behind the National Premier Leagues Victoria, and forms the third tier of the overall Australian league system. Originally founded as NPL 1 in 2014, it has undergone several changes in competition structure since its inception. Michael Foster (born 5 September 1985) is a Papua New Guinean football player who plays as a midfielder for Hekari United, and for the Papua New Guinea national team.
