Gecina is a French real estate group that owns, manages and develops property holdings worth 20 billion euros at end-June 2020, with nearly 97% located in the Paris Region. Gecina is a French real estate investment trust (SIIC) listed on Euronext Paris and employs nearly 500 people. The Group's business is built around the leading office portfolio in France and Europe, alongside residential assets and student residences, with over 9,000 apartments. History Gecina was created in January 1959 as Groupement pour le Financement de la Construction (GFC), attracting funds from around 60 insurance companies to finance the development of residential buildings. The company changed its name to Gecina in 1998 when it acquired the real estate company Foncina. CAC Next 20
The CAC Next 20 is an index of security prices used with the Euronext Paris or Euronext Amsterdam. It gathers the 20 companies whose market capitalizations are ranked after those of the 40 companies who compose the CAC 40. These 20 are possible candidates to replace the members of the CAC 40 index. The CAC Next 20 was launched on 31 December 2002. Tour T1
Tour T1 (also known as the Tour GDF Suez) is an office skyscraper in La Défense, the high-rise business district west of Paris, France. Construction began in 2005 and the tower was completed and opened in 2008. The tower, 185 m (607 ft) tall, is the third-tallest skyscraper in La Défense after the Tour Total (190m) and Tour First (231m). Since 2010, the entirety of the building's office space has been rented by GDF Suez. Foster + Partners is a British architectural, engineering, and integrated design practice founded in 1967 as Foster Associates by Norman Foster. It is the largest architectural firm in the UK with over 1,500 employees in 13 studios worldwide. History Established by Norman Foster as Foster Associates in 1967 shortly after leaving Team 4, the firm was renamed Sir Norman Foster and Partners Ltd in 1992 and shortened to Foster & Partners Ltd in 1999 to more accurately reflect the influence of the other lead architects.
