GeTai Challenge
''GeTai Challenge'' (GTC, ) is a singing talent search competition for renowned getai singers organised by Mediacorp and broadcast on Channel 8 in Singapore. The show began on 22 May 2015 and ended on 17 August 2015. A second season was renewed in 2018 with the show collaborated with Ministry of Communications and Information; the second season premiered on 20 April 2018 and ended on 10 August 2018. The concept of ''GeTai Challenge'' aims to promote the culture of getai in Singapore, and to find aspiring singers coming from the Getai industry; those singers were put together to compete for the ''GeTai Challenge'' title where the winner is determined by the judges' score itself. The winners of two currently aired seasons were Desmond Ng and Angie Lau. Winners received a S$20,000 cash prize and a trophy. Marcus Chin
Marcus Chin On Kang (, born 22 September 1953) is a Singaporean host, actor and singer. He left Mediacorp as a full-time artiste. Career Chin joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation during the 1970s. During the 1990s, he was mainly known for starring in comedic roles in the long-running ''Comedy Nite'' (搞笑行动) and various shows alongside Mark Lee, Henry Thia, Moses Lim, Jack Neo and John Cheng. Chin left J-Team with one year remaining on his 10-year contract after he divorced his wife, Murong Ying, to be with then-girlfriend, Eileen Cheah. GeTai Challenge (season 1)
''GeTai Challenge 2015'' () is the first season of Singaporean singing reality competition ''GeTai Challenge'' that premiered on 25 May 2015 and run for 13 weeks, with the finals taped at Resorts World Sentosa on 13 August 2015 and ended on 17 August 2015. The competition features Getai singers from all across Singapore competing out for the title of ''GeTai Challenge'' winner. The show was hosted by Pornsak and Wang Weiliang, and guest host Shane Pow on two performance shows at Yishun. On 16 August 2015, MediaCorp actor Desmond Ng was named the winner of ''GeTai Challenge'' and won a $20,000 cash award, with Love 97.2FM radio personality and actor Marcus Chin as runner-up and won $10,000. Sing! China (season 1)
The first season of the Chinese reality talent show ''Sing! China'' premiered on 15 July 2016 on Zhejiang Television. The show is loosely based on a similar competition format in the Netherlands, ''The Voice of Holland''. The show is hosted by Li Yong. Jay Chou, Na Ying, Wang Feng, and Harlem Yu are the coaches, same as the fourth season of The Voice of China On 7 October 2016, Jiang Dunhao of Team Wang Feng was announced as the winner of the season, with Nathan Hartono of Team Jay as runner-up. The Voice Of China (season 4)
The fourth and final season of the Chinese reality talent show '' The Voice of China'' premiered on 17 July 2015 on Zhejiang Television. Hu Qiaohua continued his role as host, while Na Ying and Wang Feng returned for their fourth and third consecutive seasons as coaches, respectively. Former coach Harlem Yu, who returned after a one-season absence, and Jay Chou joined the coaching panel following the departures of Chyi Chin and Yang Kun. For this season, the team sizes were reduced to 12 per team, down from 16 last season. Due to the possibility of having multiple potential winners on the same team, this season would see the show moving to a format more similar to the American version of the show.
