Gbenga Aluko
Daniel Olugbenga Aluko (20 July 1963 – 20 November 2021) was a Nigerian politician. He was elected Senator for the Ekiti South constituency of Ekiti State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic, running on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform. He took office on 29 May 1999. Birth and early career Daniel Olugbenga Aluko was born on 20 July 1963, to Professor Sam Aluko, a prominent Nigerian Economist from Ekiti State of Nigeria. He attended Federal Government College, Ilorin, and then was admitted to the University of Benin, graduating in 1982 with a degree in Geography and Regional Planning. Ekiti State
Ekiti State ( yo, Ìpínlẹ̀ Èkìtì) is a state in southwestern Nigeria, bordered to the north by Kwara State, to the northeast by Kogi State, to the south and southeast by Ondo State, and to the west by Osun State. Named for the Ekiti people—the Yoruba subgroup that make up the majority of the state's population—Ekiti State was formed from a part of Ondo State in 1996 and has its capital as the city of Ado-Ekiti. Idris Kuta
Idris Ibrahim Kuta (1 October 1942– 1 March 2008) was elected Senator for the Niger East constituency of Niger State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic, running on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform. He took office on 29 May 1999. Kuta was born on 1 October 1942 in Minna, Niger State. He qualified as a Quantity Surveyor and worked in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He served as Commissioner of Health and Commissioner of Commerce in Niger State from 1976. He was Secretary and also two-time chairman of the Nigeria Polo Association, and mounted and sponsored the dominant Kaduna Stable polo team. Kuta was deputy speaker of the House of Representatives in the Nigerian Second Republic from 1979 to 1983. He served briefly as Minister for Mines and Steel in 1983. Sone Aluko
Omatsone Folarin "Sone" Aluko (born 19 February 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Ipswich Town and the Nigeria national team. Aluko began his career at Birmingham City, graduating from the club's academy to make his senior debut in 2007. He joined Aberdeen on loan in the 2007–08 season and was loaned to Blackpool at the beginning of the 2008–09 season. After just two appearances for Blackpool, he signed for Aberdeen permanently in August 2008. He left Aberdeen in July 2011 at the end of his contract.
