Gaz Brookfield

	Gaz Brookfield Gareth "Gaz" Brookfield (born 4 July 1979) is an English folk and rock musician, who is based near Swindon, England. He is usually a solo artist, playing acoustic guitar, but is regularly joined by fiddle player Ben Wain and also has a full band, the Company of Thieves. He is also followed on his expansive tours by a loyal following calling themselves "The Land Pirates". Biography In his early career, Brookfield played with a number of bands but moved to a solo career in 2006. In 2010, he won Acoustic Magazine's Singer-Songwriter of the Year award, which also won him a place on the Big Top stage at Beautiful Days Festival, where he played twice more since. He played at other major festivals such as Glastonbury, and supported artists such as The Levellers, New Model Army, Ferocious Dog, and Frank Turner. 	Cheese And Grain The Cheese and Grain is a live music and arts venue, and a community and education centre, in Frome, England. The main room has a capacity of over 800 people standing or 500 seated. Built in 1874 as a market hall, it has seen a number of changes of use in its history. The venue is the largest music venue in Somerset and has seen artists such as Joni Mitchell, Robert Plant and Joan Armatrading play there, whilst the Foo Fighters and Paul McCartney have played secret shows there in 2017 and 2022 respectively. History The hall was built in 1874 as a market for farm produce, with a secondary use as a community hall. During the Second World War, the hall became a munitions factory, and was then used as a storage depot for tyres, before being purchased by Mendip District Council. 	Bierkeller Theatre The Bierkeller Theatre was a theatre in Broadmead, Bristol, England, located inside Bristol's oldest night club, the Bristol Bierkeller. Previously a host for the Bristol Shakespeare Festival, the Bierkeller Theatre officially opened in mid-January 2012, receiving local, national and international companies. The theatre announced its inaugural season, with a production "Rescue Me!", from the local company of actors FarOutMan Theatre. Since the opening of the theatre over 150 productions have been staged.
