History Gayathri Films was one of the several production companies used by brothers Chitra Lakshmanan and Chithra Ramu as a part of their involvement in Tamil cinema. Ambika is an Indian actress known for her works predominantly across the entire the southern film industry films and in several teleserials. Subramaniyan Karuppaiya (born 25 May 1939), known by his stage name Goundamani, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema.
