Brescian
Eastern Lombard is a group of closely related variants of Lombard, a Gallo-Italic dialect spoken in Lombardy, mainly in the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia and Mantua, in the area around Cremona and in parts of Trentino. Its main variants are Bergamasque and Brescian. In Italian-speaking contexts, Eastern Lombard is often generically called a "dialect", understood as to mean a dialect of Italian, while some claim it is not a dialect but a language. Eastern Lombard and Italian have only limited mutual intelligibility as is the case for many Italian dialects. Eastern Lombard does not have any official status either in Lombardy or anywhere else: the only official language in Lombardy is Italian. Classification Eastern Lombard is a Romance language of the Gallo-Italic branch, closer to Occitan, Catalan, French, etc. than to Italian, with a Celtic substratum. Geographic distribution Eastern Lombard is primarily spoken in Eastern Lombardy (Northern Italy), in the provinces of Berg ...

Puegnago Sul Garda
Puegnago del Garda ( Gardesano: ) is a ''comune'' in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is bounded by the comunes of San Felice del Benaco, Manerba del Garda, Muscoline, Polpenazze del Garda and Salò. History Thanks to the finding of the remains of lake-dwelling villages in the small lakes of ''Sovenigo'', it has been possible to ascertain that the area was already inhabited during the prehistoric era. When visiting ''Monte Boccale'' it is possible to encounter plaques belonging to the Romanesque period, the most spectacular being walled into the door of the parish church in San Michele. The town experienced Lombard domination, as is demonstrated by documents listing the property of some Lombards; in the 14th century it was subjected to the dominion of Mastino della Scala and in the 15th century to domination from Venice Venice ( ; it, Venezia ; vec, Venesia or ) is a city in northeastern Italy and the capital of the Veneto Regions of Italy, region. There are numerous ruins of the Roman settlement, as shown by the Lugone necropolis (in via Sant’Jago) and the findings (vase-flasks and funeral steles) in the Civic Archaeological Museum located at the ''Loggia della Magnifica Patria''. Middle Ages During the high Middle Ages, the city shared the same history as that of Lombardy.
