Gastón Sauro
Gastón Sauro (born 23 February 1990) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a centre-back for Club Atlético Sarmiento. Career Boca Juniors Sauro made his professional debut with Boca Juniors during the 2008–09 season. FC Basel On 6 July 2012 it was announced that Sauro had signed a four-year contract with Swiss club FC Basel. He joined Basel's first team during their 2012–13 season under head coach Heiko Vogel. After appearing in one test game Sauro played his club debut on 17 July in the 2–0 away win against Flora Tallinn in the 1st Leg of the second qualifying round to the 2012–13 UEFA Champions League. Marek Suchý (born 29 March 1988) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Mladá Boleslav and former captain of the Czech Republic national team. Uhrencup
The Uhrencup is a club football tournament, held annually in Grenchen and Biel in Switzerland. The Uhrencup is seen as a testament to the major influence that is exercised by the local industry on the cultural lives of the areas residents. The tournament usually features four teams (sometimes more), each playing two matches, and is held in July as a friendly tournament, the format of which tends to be fluid. For the teams taking part, the tournament is a welcome opportunity to prepare for the upcoming football season. 2013–14 FC Basel Season
The 2013–14 FC Basel season was the 121st season in the club's history and the club's 19th consecutive season in the top flight of Swiss football. Basel started the season as were the reigning champions of the Super League champions. They commenced the season with a number of friendly matches against teams from Switzerland, Serbia and Germany. The 2012–13 Swiss Super League, also known as Raiffeisen Super League for sponsoring purposes, was the 116th season of top-tier football in Switzerland. It began on 14 July 2012 and ended on 2 June 2013. Basel successfully defended their title. The league comprised the best eight sides from the 2011–12 season, the 2011–12 Swiss Challenge League champions FC St. Gallen, and FC Sion, the winners of the relegation/promotion play-off between the ninth-placed Super League team and the Challenge League runners-up.
