Gary Waters
Gary Steven Waters (born August 15, 1951) is an American college basketball coach and the men's basketball former head coach at Cleveland State University. Coaching career Kent State On April 3, 1996 Waters was named the 21st head coach at Kent State. On July 6, 2000 Waters signed a 6-year contract extension. Rutgers On April 6, 2001 Waters was named the 15th head coach at Rutgers. He previously coached at Rutgers University, guiding the Scarlet Knights to the NIT tournament final in 2004. Waters announced his resignation from Rutgers on March 1, 2006 and accepted a buyout from Rutgers worth about $550,000. He officially resigned after he coached his last game for Rutgers on March 16, 2006. Cleveland State Waters was named the 14th head basketball coach at Cleveland State University on April 6, 2006. Highland Park, Michigan
Highland Park is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 8,977 at the 2020 census. Along with its neighbor of Hamtramck, Highland Park is an enclave city surrounded by the city of Detroit. Cedric Lamar Jackson (born March 5, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player. He played two years of college basketball for Cleveland State University, where he made a notable game-winning full-court shot against Syracuse and helped the Vikings past Wake Forest in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament. As a pro, Jackson made a name for himself playing for the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). Quincy Douby (born May 16, 1984) is an American–born, naturalized Montenegrin former professional basketball player. At , , Douby played shooting guard for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. John Edwards (basketball)
John Edwards (born July 31, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player. He played the center position. Edwards played collegiately for Kent State University. While at Kent State, Edwards was part of two of the Golden Flashes trips to the NCAA tournament which included their appearance in the 2002 Elite Eight. He was named Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference pick in his final season and holds the Kent State record for season and career blocked shots. He was invited to the Indiana Pacers training camp in 2004.
