Gary Montgomery (sportsman)
Gary Stephen Montgomery (born 8 October 1982) is an English former professional footballer and cricketer. As a footballer he played as a goalkeeper from 1999 to 2010 for Coventry City, Crewe Alexandra, Kidderminster Harriers, Rotherham United, Grimsby Town and Boston United. In 2010, he switched sports to cricket and made three List A cricket appearances as a professional playing for Lancashire County Cricket Club. Football career Montgomery was promoted from the youth team ranks at Coventry City during the 1999–2000 season. He was part of the same impressive youth team that boasted fellow keeper Chris Kirkland. While at Coventry, Gary spent time on loan with Crewe Alexandra and Kidderminster Harriers. Leamington Spa
Royal Leamington Spa, commonly known as Leamington Spa or simply Leamington (), is a spa town and civil parish in Warwickshire, England. Originally a small village called Leamington Priors, it grew into a spa town in the 18th century following the popularisation of its water which was reputed to have medicinal qualities. In the 19th century, the town experienced one of the most rapid expansions in England. It is named after the River Leam, which flows through the town. The town contains especially fine ensembles of Regency architecture, particularly in parts of the Parade, Clarendon Square and Lansdowne Circus. Mike Pollitt
Michael Francis Pollitt (born 29 February 1972) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Manchester United Born in Farnworth, Lancashire, Pollitt began his career at Manchester United turning professional in the summer of 1990 following a two-year apprenticeship. On 5 October 1990, Pollitt joined Oldham Athletic on a month's loan as back-up for Jon Hallworth but did not make a senior appearance during his time at Boundary Park. In January 1991 he joined then Football Conference side Macclesfield Town, also on loan, debuting in the 1–1 away draw with Boston United on 5 January 1991. Clydesdale Bank 40
The ECB40, last known as the Yorkshire Bank 40 (YB40) for sponsorship reasons, was a forty-over limited overs cricket competition for the English first-class counties. It began in the 2010 English cricket season as a replacement for the Pro40 and Friends Provident Trophy competitions. Yorkshire Bank were the last sponsors, taking over the naming rights from their parent company Clydesdale Bank for the 2013 edition. Warwickshire won the inaugural tournament. Blundell Park
Blundell Park is a football ground in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, England and home to Grimsby Town Football Club. The stadium was built in 1899, but only one of the original stands remains. The current capacity of the ground is 9,052, after being made all-seater in summer 1995, reducing the number from around 27,000. Several relegations in previous years meant the expansion seating was also taken away; that reduced the capacity further from around 12,000 to what it is now. The stadium is Grimsby Town's fourth ground, having previously played at Clee Park, Lovett Street and Abbey Park in the club's first twenty years of existence. Philip Kenneth Barnes (born 2 March 1979) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Barnes was active between 1996 and 2019, spending the his first thirteen seasons in professional football in a career that began at Rotherham United, although he first made a name for himself as Blackpool. Quincy Jamie Owusu-Abeyie (born 15 April 1986), often known simply as Quincy, is a former professional footballer who plays as a forward or left winger for Dutch amateur club SV Robinhood. Sylvain Wiltord
Sylvain Claude Wiltord (born 10 May 1974) is a French former professional footballer. Mainly a right winger, he also played as a centre-forward, second striker and on the left wing. Wiltord had a four-season spell at Arsenal, with whom he won two Premier League titles and two FA Cups. He also won the Ligue 1 title at Bordeaux and in each of his three consecutive seasons at Lyon. Arsenal Stadium was a football stadium in Highbury, London, which was the home of Arsenal Football Club between 6 September 1913 and 7 May 2006. It was popularly known as "Highbury" due to its location and was given the affectionate nickname of the "Home of Football" by the club. It was originally built in 1913 on the site of a local college's recreation ground and was significantly redeveloped twice.
