Gary David Grant (born 18 June 1958), known professionally as Gary Martin, is a British actor who has been in the acting industry since the early 1980s. His first recorded acting credit is as a chauffeur in the television series '' Nobody's Perfect''. He has since gone on to perform in over 60 roles, either as a voice actor or actor. Martin is well known for his vocal range, and has recorded voiceovers for multiple American and British commercials and film trailers. Gary John Martin (born 10 October 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Icelandic club Víkingur on loan from Selfoss. Besides England, he has played in Hungary, Iceland, Belgium and Norway. Career Martin was born in Darlington, County Durham. He started his career with Middlesbrough, where he came through the club's youth system and was given a youth-team scholarship (YTS) in 2007. He was a prolific goalscorer at both youth and reserve levels, scoring 19 goals in 39 matches for the academy team, and 17 goals in 26 appearances for the reserve team. In June 2009, his YTS was extended by a year, and in the build-up to the 2009–10 season he played with the first team in pre-season. ''Trade Wars'' is a series of video games dating back to 1984. The video games are inspired by '' Hunt the Wumpus'', the board game ''Risk'', and the original space trader game ''Star Trader''. History The first game with the title, "Trade Wars" by Chris Sherrick, was developed in BASIC for the TRS-80, and immediately ported to the IBM PC for the Nochange BBS system in 1984. Sherrick conceived his game as a cross between Dave Kaufman's BASIC program ''Star Trader'' 1974, the board game ''Risk'', and Gregory Yob's '' Hunt the Wumpus'' 1972. Gary Martin (1958 – November 10, 2022) was an American politics reporter. He was a Washington bureau chief who covered the United States Congress for the ''Las Vegas Review-Journal''. Martin was a native of Boulder, Colorado. He attended Colorado State University. He had a decades-long career reporting on government and working as a Washington correspondent, starting at the San Antonio Express-News.
