Gary Chivers (born 15 May 1960) is an English former association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender in the Football League for Chelsea F.C., Chelsea, Swansea City A.F.C., Swansea City, Queens Park Rangers F.C., Queens Park Rangers, Watford F.C., Watford, Brighton & Hove Albion F.C., Brighton & Hove Albion, AFC Bournemouth, and in the Norwegian Premier League for FC Lyn Oslo, Lyn Oslo. A central defender, Chivers began his career with Chelsea F.C., Chelsea in 1979, and remained with the club until 1983, a poor period in the club's history. Stockwell is a district in south west London, part of the London Borough of Lambeth, England. It is situated south of Charing Cross. Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn (lit. "Ski and Football Club Lightning") is a Norwegian alliance sports club from Nordre Aker, Oslo. It has two sections; for association football and Nordic skiing. A sports coach is a person coaching in sport, involved in the direction, instruction and training of a sports team or athlete.
