Doug Garwood (born March 31, 1963) is an American professional golfer. Garwood played college golf at Fresno State University where he was a two-time All-American. Garwood played on the Nationwide Tour from 2002 to 2005. His best finish was a playoff loss to Andy Miller (golfer), Andy Miller in the 2002 State Farm Open. Garwood began playing on the PGA Tour Champions in 2013 and won the 2016 SAS Championship. He was the son of actor Kelton Garwood. Edmund Johnston Garwood (18 May 1864 in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire – 12 June 1949 in London) was a British geologist and President of the Geological Society of London from 1930 to 1932. He was born in Bridlington and educated at Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he matriculated in 1886. In 1899 he accompanied D.W. Freshfieldon an expedition to Kanchenjunga and wrote an account of the local geology. In 1901 he was appointed Yates-Goldsmid Professor of Geology and Mineralogy at London University, a position he held until his retirement in 1931. In 1913-14, Garwood was elected as the President of the Geographical Association. Kelton Bradford Garwood, also known and credited as Jonathan Harper, and John Harper, (May 21, 1928 – July 28, 1991) was an American actor on stage, film and television, perhaps best known as undertaker Percy Crump on the western television show ''Gunsmoke''. Career Garwood received a degree in Theatrical Arts from the Ohio University, after which he performed on stage as a leading man. Director Blake Edwards was so impressed that he arranged for Garwood to begin a film career, with a supporting role of Magician in the 1959 episode "Murder on the Midway" of the television series '' Peter Gunn''. Air Marshal Sir Richard Frank Garwood, (born 10 January 1959) is a retired senior Royal Air Force officer. He was appointed Deputy Commander-in-Chief (Operations) at RAF Air Command in April 2010, initially on an acting basis – having served for less than a year as Chief of Staff (Operations) – following the reassignment of Air Marshal Tim Anderson as Director General of the new Military Aviation Authority, and pending the appointment of Air Marshal Andrew Pulford. However, following the sudden death of the then Commander-in-Chief Air Chief Marshal Sir Christopher Moran, Pulford was in turn reassigned and Garwood promoted to air marshal and confirmed in post. Robert Lee Rayford (February 3, 1953 – May 15 1969), sometimes identified as Robert R. due to his age, was an American teenager from Missouri who has been suggested to represent the earliest confirmed case of HIV/AIDS in North America based on evidence which was published in 1988 in which the authors claimed that medical evidence indicated that he was "infected with a virus closely related or identical to human immunodeficiency virus type 1." Rayford died of pneumonia, but his other symptoms baffled the doctors who treated him. A study published in 1988 reported the detection of antibodies against HIV. Results of testing for HIV genetic material were reported once at a scientific conference in Australia in 1999; however, the data has never been published in a peer-reviewed medical or scientific journal. Eileen Lucy "Tirzah" Garwood (11 April 1908 – 27 March 1951) was a British artist and engraver, a member of the Great Bardfield Artists. The artist Eric Ravilious was her husband from 1930 until his death in 1942. Early life Garwood was born in 1908 in Gillingham, Kent, the third of five children. Her father Frederick Scott Garwood (1872–1944) was an officer in the Royal Engineers. Her name "Tirzah" was bestowed by her siblings, a reference to Tirzah in the Book of Numbers in the Bible, and possibly a corruption of a reference by her grandmother to "Little Tertia", that is, the third child. Garwood is a New Jersey Transit (NJT) railroad station on the Raritan Valley Line, in Garwood, New Jersey. There are two short, low platforms on each side, long enough for 2 cars only. Passengers using the inbound platform must cross over a siding track. Access to neighboring stations is available on the 59 or 113 bus to Newark and New York, traveling between Cranford and Westfield stations. Since June 2011, a ticket vending machine (TVM) has been available on the inbound platform. The former Jersey Central Railroad depot, built in 1892, burned in an early morning fire on June 30, 1976.
