''Garter Colt'' (''Giarrettiera Colt'') is a 1968 Italian spaghetti Western directed by Gian Andrea Rocco. It is one of the rare Italo-Westerns with a woman as lead character and was shot in Sardinia at a town named San Salvatore di Sinis. Plot At the Mexico–United States border, a brave young woman defends herself from the attack of the fearsome bandit, "Red", mastering a gun and the game of poker. Falling in love with a young Frenchman, he asks her to give up gambling and start a quiet and normal life, but when the young man is abducted by "Red", she is determined to seek revenge. Claudio Camaso (born Claudio Volonté; 3 February 1939 – 16 September 1977) was an Italian actor, noted as much for his troubled, violent life as for his performances. He was the younger brother of Gian Maria Volonté. Early life and career Claudio Volonté was born in Turin in 1939, in the days leading up to the Second World War. Walter Lee Barnes (January 26, 1918 – January 6, 1998) was an American football guard and actor who played in National Football League (NFL) for four seasons. He played in the (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles and in college at Louisiana State University. Barnes was an actor in both American and European films. He appeared in several films with John Wayne, Lex Barker, and Clint Eastwood. Sports career Barnes earned his nickname of "Piggy" from catching a piglet when a boy. Yorgo Voyagis ( el, Γιώργος Βογιατζής, Giorgos Vogiadzis ; born 6 December 1945) is a Greek actor. Career as an actor Voyagis' film debut was in Michael Cacoyannis's ''Zorba the Greek'' (1964). He reappeared three years later in the Italian Western ''Killer Kid''. Voyagis then starred in the film ''Chronicle of the Years of Fire'' by Mohammed Lakhdar-Hamina (1975). In ''The Ballad of Mamluk Abdelhafidh Bouassida'' (1982), he played the titular role alongside Bekim Fehmiu and Irene Papas. He also played Joseph alongside Olivia Hussey (Mary) in Franco Zeffirelli's TV Production of ''Jesus of Nazareth'' in 1977, in which he powerfully portrayed a strong, yet humble, man. Marisa Anna Solinas (30 May 1939 – 12 February 2019), best known as Marisa Solinas, was an Italian actress and singer. Life Born in Genoa to a Sardinian father and a Tuscan mother from Garfagnana, Marisa Solinas made her film debut in 1961, but her career was launched the following year when she was chosen by Mario Monicelli to be the main actress in "''Renzo e Luciana''", one of the four episodes of ''Boccaccio '70''; the same year she appeared in Bernardo Bertolucci's film debut, '' La commare secca'' and acted on stage in ''Fogli d'album'' at the Festival dei Due Mondi. Later she starred in a large number of genre films, especially Spaghetti Westerns, and appeared in several successful TV-series. She was also a singer, and published two albums and several singles, one of these released by La voce del padrone. She died on 12 February 2019, at the age of 79.
