Garrett Uhlenbrock
Garrett Uhlenbrock, (born Garrett James Uhlenbrock, 21 August 1964) aka Skinny Bones is an American punk rock musician and songwriter, best known for co-writing songs for the New York based band, the Ramones. Record producer Bill Laswell introduced Uhlenbrock to Dee Dee Ramone in 1989. In 1990 Uhlenbrock and Dee Dee Ramone co-wrote the first version of "Poison Heart", which was later recorded by the Ramones on their ''Mondo Bizarro'' album. Shortly after Uhlenbrock wrote "The Job That Ate My Brain", and "Anxiety" with Marky Ramone for the same Ramones album (RARD10615 Radioactive Records), which was released in 1992. In 1995, Uhlenbrock and Marky Ramone co-wrote "Have A Nice Day", which was recorded by the Ramones for the ''¡Adios Amigos!'' album (RARD11273 Radioactive Records). Deserter's Songs
''Deserter's Songs'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Mercury Rev, released in late September 1998. British music magazine ''NME'' named ''Deserter's Songs'' album of the year for 1998. Limited edition copies of the album came in a brown cardboard envelope-like package, with a stamp on the cover postmarked with the release date, as well as two art postcards. The success of this album was a pleasant surprise for the band. ''¡Adios Amigos!'' (in Spanish, "Goodbye Friends") is the fourteenth and final studio album by American punk rock band Ramones. It was released on July 18, 1995, through Radioactive Records. The Ramones disbanded a year after its release and subsequent tour. Background The album was recorded at Baby Monster Studios in New York City, and was the band's third album on Radioactive Records after leaving Sire due to lack of significant sales and chart success. Relations within the band were strained, due to Joey Ramone's deteriorating health—having been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma—Joey and Johnny Ramone’s decade-long feud and a burgeoning rift between Marky and C.J. Marky Ramone
Marc Steven Bell (born July 15, 1952) is an American drummer. He began playing in hard rock bands in the New York City area, notably Dust and Estus. He was asked to drum for punk rock band Richard Hell and the Voidoids. He replaced drummer Tommy Ramone in the Ramones in 1978, and went by the stage name Marky Ramone from then on. He has also played drums for other punk rock and heavy metal bands, including his own band Marky Ramone and the Intruders. He continues to keep the Ramones legacy alive around the world with his band Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg. Ramone lives in Brooklyn Heights with his wife, Marion Flynn. In 2015, he released his autobiography ''Punk Rock Blitzkrieg: My Life as a Ramone''. Poison Heart
"Poison Heart" is a song by the punk rock band Ramones. Written by Dee Dee Ramone, who had retired as their longtime bassist in 1989 but still wrote songs for the band, "Poison Heart" was included on the 1992 album ''Mondo Bizarro'' and was also released as a single. The song was given to the band by Dee Dee in exchange for bailing him out of jail and has a slower tempo than typical Ramones songs. A music video was produced for the song, directed by Samuel Bayer, which was later released in their 2005 compilation box set ''Weird Tales of the Ramones'' as bonus content on the DVD of their documentary ''Lifestyles of the Ramones''. Douglas Glenn Colvin (September 18, 1951 – June 5, 2002), better known by his stage name Dee Dee Ramone, was an American musician. He was the bassist and a founding member of the punk rock band Ramones. Throughout the band's existence, he was the most prolific lyricist and composer, writing many of their best-known songs, such as "53rd & 3rd", "Chinese Rock", "Commando", "Wart Hog", " Rockaway Beach", "Poison Heart" and " Bonzo Goes To Bitburg" (also known as "My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down"). William Otis Laswell (born February 12, 1955) is an American bass guitarist, record producer, and record label owner. He has been involved in thousands of recordings with many collaborators from all over the world. His music draws from funk, world music, jazz, dub, and ambient styles.
