Garrett Lerner
Garrett Lerner is an American television writer and producer who served as an executive producer on the Fox series ''House''. He often works with his writing partner Russel Friend. Television career Lerner's writing career began on the CBS crime series ''Martial Law'', after which he served as a writer and producer on several series through the late 1990s until the early 2000s, including ''FreakyLinks'', '' Roswell'', ''John Doe'', ''Boston Public'', '' LAX'' and ''Smallville''. In 2005, he and Friend joined the writing staff of the medical mystery series ''House''. Their first episode, "Acceptance", was the premiere of the second season. At the start of the fourth season Lerner became an executive producer, a job which he currently still occupies. He and Russel Friend also co-wrote musical dramedy '' Glees Season Four episode ''Guilty Pleasures''. "Help Me" is Episode 22, the season finale of the sixth season of the American medical drama '' House''. It first aired on May 17, 2010. The episode covers a crane collapse in which House tries to save one of the victims, Hanna, who is trapped in rubble. "Help Me" was positively received by critics. Plot House (Hugh Laurie), gives Cuddy a book written by her great-grandfather as a housewarming present. He then arrives at a downtown building, where a crane collapsed and caused an accident that injured numerous people. House, Cuddy, and House's team roam the area diagnosing and treating victims, until they come across the crane operator, who ostensibly fell asleep despite being overloaded with caffeine. House deduces the operator must have passed out and sends him to Princeton-Plainsboro to be diagnosed. He attempts to go with him, but is held back by Cuddy. "Lockdown" is the seventeenth episode of the sixth season of the American medical drama ''House''. It aired on April 12, 2010. This episode also marks the directorial debut of Hugh Laurie on the show. This episode has five storylines: When the hospital is sent into lockdown mode due to a missing infant, all of the doctors must remain where they are, leaving Foreman and Taub in the file room, Wilson and Thirteen in the cafeteria playing truth or dare, House in a room with a patient (David Strathairn), and Chase with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Cameron, as Cuddy tries to help police locate the infant. "House's Head" is the fifteenth episode of the fourth season of '' House'' and the eighty-fifth episode overall. It was the first part of the two-part season four finale, the second part being " Wilson's Heart". Co-written by several ''House'' producers and directed by Greg Yaitanes, "House's Head" premiered on May 12, 2008 on Fox.
