Garrett Brown (born April 6, 1942) is an American inventor, best known as the creator of the Steadicam. Brown's invention allows camera operators to film while walking without the normal shaking and jostles of a handheld camera. Garrett Dillon
Garrett (or Gerard or Gerald) Dillon (c.1640-c.1696) was an Irish judge, politician and soldier, who held the office of Recorder of Dublin. He is mainly remembered today as one of the signatories of the Treaty of Limerick, which he helped to negotiate. The refusal of the Irish Parliament to ratify the Treaty led to his downfall. Early life Dickerson grew up in Englewood, New Jersey and attended Bergen Catholic High School. Garrett Davis (September 10, 1801 – September 22, 1872) was a U.S. Senator and Representative from Kentucky. Early life Born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, Garrett Davis was the brother of Amos Davis. After completing preparatory studies, Davis was employed in the office of the county clerk of Montgomery County, Kentucky, and afterward of Bourbon County, Kentucky. He studied law, and, after being admitted to the bar in 1823, pursued the private practice of law in Paris, Kentucky. He owned slaves. Political career Davis served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 1833 to 1835. Garrett Cochran (August 26, 1876 – July 8, 1918) was an American football player and coach. He played college football at Princeton University from 1894 to 1897 at the end position, and was twice named to the College Football All-America Team. Cochran served as the head football coach at the University of California, Berkeley (1898–1899), the United States Naval Academy (1900) and Princeton University (1902), compiling a career head coaching record of 29–5–3.
