Gareth Simpson
Gareth Simpson (born 2 November 1997) is an English born South African rugby union player. Simpson played in the Currie Cup for Sharks in his native South Africa and also had a stint playing for Wellington in the Mitre 10 Cup in New Zealand before he moved to England. He joined the Worcester Warriors academy in the summer of 2019 having spent the second half of the 2018–19 season on trial at Sixways Stadium. He played regularly for the Cavaliers in the Premiership Rugby Shield and for Stourbridge in National League 2 North. Simpson played for the Warriors in the Premiership Rugby Sevens Series at Northampton in September 2019. He made his senior debut off the bench in the Premiership Rugby Cup 57–23 victory over Leicester Tigers at Sixways the following week. European Rugby Challenge Cup
The EPCR Challenge Cup is an annual rugby union competition organised by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). It is the second-tier competition for clubs based in European leagues behind the European Rugby Champions Cup. From its inception in 1996 to 2014, it was known as the European Challenge Cup and governed by European Rugby Cup (ERC). Following disagreements in the structure of the tournament's format and division of revenue, the English and French leagues withdrew to form the EPCR, which organized the Challenge Cup and the Champions Cup since the 2014–15 season. Wasps Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022 the club entered administration, resulting in relegation to the RFU Championship, and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Founded in 1867 as Wasps FC, Wasps Football Club, from 1923 to 1996 they were based at Repton Avenue in Sudbury, London. Exeter Chiefs (officially Exeter Rugby Club) is an England, English professional rugby union club based in Exeter, Devon. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby.
