Gara (film)
''Gara'' is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language drama film directed by Murali Krishna and starring Rahman, Avanthika Mohan and Pradeep Aryan. The story is based on R. K. Narayan's short story '' An Astrologer's Day''. An Astrologer's Day
An Astrologer's Day is a thriller, suspense short story by author R. K. Narayan. While it had been published earlier, it was the titular story of Narayan's fourth collection of short stories published in 1947 by Indian Thought Publications. It was the first chapter of the world famous collection of stories Malgudi Days which was later telecasted on television in 2006. Fallon and et al. described the work as "a model of economy without leaving out the relevant detail." Themes found in ''An Astrologer's Day'' recur frequently throughout Narayan's work. Avanthika Mohan
Priyanka Mohan, better known by her stage name Avantika Mohan is an Indian actress and model. She made her feature film debut with ''Yakshi – Faithfully Yours'' and later earned popularity through the TV series ''Athmasakhi''. Early life Avanthika Mohan was born and brought up in Dubai. Her parents are from Calicut. She returned to Kerala to pursue a modelling career and won the Miss Malabar 2011 title and also the subtitle Miss Perfect 2010. Sahaya Sheelan Shadrach (born 24 March 1966) known by his screen name Sadhu Kokila, is an Indian musician, actor, comedian, film director and producer, and an occasional screenwriter and lyricist who works in Kannada cinema. ''The New Indian Express'' is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Chennai-based Express Publications.
