La Lunatica Lacuna Lady Bullseye Lady Deathstrike Lady Dorma Lady Grey Lady Lark Lady Lark (Linda Lewis), later named Skylark, is a character in the Marvel Comics series Squadron Supreme and hails from Earth-712. She first appeared in '' Avengers'' #85 (February 1971), and was created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema. She is based on Black Canary and later on Hawkgirl in DC Comics. Linda Lewis was a singer before an enemy of the Squadron Supreme, Doctor Decibel, surgically implanted synthetic vocal cords into her throat, giving her the ability to generate a "sonic cry" which could incapacitate opponents. A reluctant hero at best, Linda often wished to return to her singing career. She often partnered in crime-fighting, and later romantically, with the character Golden Archer (mirroring the relationship between the modern Black Canary and Green Arrow); however, she refused his marriage proposal. Karen Page Paibok Doctor Paine Doctor Paine are two fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Thaddeus Paine Dr. Thaddeus Paine, created by Len Kaminski, first appeared in ''Morbius the Living Vampire'' #4 (December 1994). He is a sadist who is unable to feel pain and has prosthesic hands equipped with surgical tools. He is a silent partner of Dr. David Langford which got threatened, resulting in the deaths of Martine Bancroft and his business partner. Paine then experiments on Morbius, the Living Vampire much like his inhumane medical experiments on the homeless, resulting in the Living Vampire vengefully destroying his facility while the Doctor escaped. Venom is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is a sentient alien symbiote with an amorphous, liquid-like form, who survives by bonding with a host, usually human. This dual-life form receives enhanced powers and usually refers to itself as "Venom". The symbiote was originally introduced as a living alien costume in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #252 (May 1984), with a full first appearance as Venom in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #300 (May 1988). ''Venom: Lethal Protector'' is a six-issue comic book limited series featuring the Eddie Brock Venom, published by Marvel Comics from February 1993 to July 1993. It was written by David Michelinie and illustrated mostly by Mark Bagley, although Ron Lim and series inker Sam de la Rosa pencilled the last three issues.
