	Gangster's Den ''Gangster's Den'' is a 1945 American Producers Releasing Corporation Western film of the "Billy the Kid" series directed by Sam Newfield. Plot Fuzzy (Al St. John) is upset that the ranch hands spend their time and money at a saloon where they lose their money drinking and gambling. 	Sam Newfield Sam Newfield, born Samuel Neufeld, (December 6, 1899 - November 10, 1964), also known as Sherman Scott or Peter Stewart, was an American B-movie director, one of the most prolific in American film history—he is credited with directing over 250 feature films in a career which began during the silent era and ended in 1958. Biography Ed Cassidy was born in Harvey, Illinois, a south suburb of Chicago on May 4, 1923. His family moved to Bakersfield, California in 1931. Plot Imprisoned and sentenced to death for crimes they did not commit, Billy, Fuzzy and Jeff break out of jail. The three escapees discover that there are three impersonators who dress as them committing the crimes.
