Ganesh (actor)
Ganesh Kishan (born 2 July 1980), known mononymously as Ganesh, is an Indian actor and television presenter known for his work in Kannada cinema. Through his career in films and television shows, he has become one of the most popular celebrities and highest-paid actors in Kannada cinema. He is the recipient of several awards, including two Filmfare Awards. Ganesh shot to fame with the film ''Mungaru Male'' (2006), which set a record in Kannada cinema. In theatres, it was speculated to have collected over 75 crore by the end of its record-breaking 865-day theatrical run. It was the first movie to be screened continuously for one year in a multiplex in any language in India. The success of ''Mungaru Male'' brought Ganesh the nickname, "Golden Star". ''Chamak'' is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Suni and produced by T. R. Chandrashekar. Kannada (; ಕನ್ನಡ, ), originally romanised Canarese, is a Dravidian language spoken predominantly by the people of Karnataka in southwestern India, with minorities in all neighbouring states. Sihi Kahi Chandru
Chandrashekar (born 1962 23 July), known by his stage name Sihi Kahi Chandru, which literally means "sweet and bitter" Chandru, is an Indian Kannada film and television actor. Career His wife ''Sihi Kahi Geetha'' and he were the main protagonists in an old Doordarshan Kannada serial titled ''Sihi Kahi'' which was televised every Friday at the 7.00-7.30 slot, between 1986-87. Those being initial days of Doordarshan, the show had a large viewership and the serial was extremely popular with the Kannada audience. It was a situation-comedy (sitcom) serial in which Chandru and Geetha enacted the role of a husband and wife.
