''Gamepad'' is a British television show, that originally aired on Bravo from 2001 to 2004. It is hosted by Violet Berlin. The show distinguished itself from rival video games shows by professing to be "by gamers, for gamers". Violet Berlin (born 2 January 1968) is a British television presenter, producer and script writer for films, games and immersive experiences, best known for her pioneering coverage of innovative technology and video games. Career Berlin first appeared on television screens in the 1990s, as a presenter on ''WildBunch'' on BBC1 and as writer-presenter for live youth magazine show ''Cool Cube'' for BSkyB from 1990 to 1992. On ''Cool Cube'' she produced and presented the first regular coverage of computer and video games on British television. Bravo was a British and Irish television channel owned by Living TV Group, a subsidiary of BSkyB. Its target audience was males in their 20s to early 40s. When Games Attack
''When Games Attack'' is a British television show, that originally aired on Bravo from 2004 to 2005. The show is presented by Dominik Diamond and created by Jonny Ffinch with whom he had previously worked on GamesMaster. Its focus was video games. Stage ''When Games Attack'' was not based in a studio, instead, it was filmed in a different location for each episode with the locations usually dictating the sort of humour and jokes Diamond used in each 30 second link between segments. Paul Dominik Diamond (born 31 December 1969) is a Scottish television and radio presenter and newspaper columnist. He is best known as the original presenter of Channel 4's video gaming programme '' GamesMaster'', as host of ''The Dominik Diamond Breakfast Show'' on XFM Scotland and as a columnist for the '' Daily Star''. After moving to Canada in 2009 he has hosted radio shows for stations in Toronto, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Calgary, where he was host of the Morning Show on Jack FM from 2015 to 2018. ''GamesMaster'' is a British television programme which originally aired on Channel 4 from 1992 to 1998. In 2021, it returned for a new series on YouTube and E4. It was the first UK television programme dedicated to video games. Dominik Diamond was the host for six of the original seven series while astronomer Sir Patrick Moore featured as the GamesMaster. He was replaced in 2021 with Sir Trevor McDonald. The show's format consists of a mixture of game reviews, small "features", tips and challenges.
