Avalanche Press is an American company that publishes board wargames and has published some role-playing game supplements. They have produced '' The Great War at Sea'' and '' ''Panzer Grenadier'' series'', as well as '' Red Parachutes'', one of their earliest games and a detailed study of the Soviet crossing of the Dnepr River in 1943. History The Australian Design Group was formed in 1982 by a group of Canberra gaming enthusiasts in order to publish the game ''Empires in Arms''. Atlas Games is a company which publishes role-playing games, board games and card games. Its founder and current president is John Nephew. Created by Royal College of Art graduate Tony Davis the company has explored iconic sources as diverse at the London Underground Diagram or Tube map, London's A-Z Map and the original book cover designs of Penguin Paperbacks from the 1930s. They have also pioneered a philosophy of eco-friendly design and recycling. One of their major design projects was to link the iconography and original design of the Penguin Books from the 1930s to prosaic objects like mugs and deckchairs.
