Gajuri
Gajuri( Nepali: गजुरी ; ''gajuri'') is a Gaupalika ( Nepali: गाउपालिका ; ''gaupalika'') (Formerly: village development committee) in Dhading District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. It has a literacy rate of 64.28% (70.30% male and 58.41% female). The city hosts as one of the city with highest literacy rate in the Dhading district. The local body was formed by merging three VDCs namely Gajuri, Pida, Nepal, Kiranchok. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 10,035 including 4,968 males and 5,067 females, being one of the most populated city in the district. The average household size was 4.51. Besides, it had 2,223 houses in this area. According to the report, out of 2,223 houses, around 1,884 had at least one facility like Radio, Television, Internet, etc. During the collection of voters data for 2017 Nepalese local elections, the population of Gajuri was calculated to be 27,084. Pida, Nepal
Pida is a Village development committee (Nepal), village development committee in Dhading District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. Nepali Language
Nepali (; , ) is an Indo-Aryan language native to the Himalayas region of South Asia. It is the official, and most widely spoken, language of Nepal, where it also serves as a '' lingua franca''. Tamang (Devanagari: तामाङ; ''tāmāng'') is a term used to collectively refer to a dialect cluster spoken mainly in Nepal, Sikkim, West Bengal (Darjeeling) and North-Eastern India. 2017 Nepalese Local Elections
The 2017 Nepalese local elections were held in Nepal in three phases on 14 May, 28 June and 18 September in 6 metropolitan cities, 11 sub-metropolitan cities, 276 municipalities and 460 rural municipalities. It was the first local level election to be held since the promulgation of the 2015 constitution. Background Local elections were held in 53 municipalities in February 2006 under regime of King Gyanendra but were boycotted by the major political parties and saw low voter turnout. Prior to 2006, the previous elections was held in 1997 with a mandate of five years. Elections were supposed to be held on 2002 but were delayed due to the then ongoing Nepal Civil War. Bagmati Zone ( ne, बागमती अञ्चल ''Bāgmatī Añcal'') was one of the fourteen zones of Nepal until the restoration of zones to Provinces. Its headquarters are Kathmandu.
