Gaijin Studios
Gaijin Studios was a group of American comic book artists formed in Atlanta, Georgia. It was one of the longest-running collectives of freelance comic book artists in the United States, in continuous operation for nineteen years, from 1991 to 2010. In June 2020, Newsarama was merged with the website GamesRadar+, also owned by FutureUS. Comic Book
A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by descriptive prose and written narrative, usually, dialogue contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form. Tony Harris (born 1969) is an American comic book artist, known for his work on series such as ''Starman'', ''Iron Man'', and '' Ex Machina''. He has been nominated for nineteen Eisner Awards and has won two. Career Harris began his comics career in 1989. Initially, he flitted from assignment to assignment and worked on T-shirts and ads to pay the bills during dry spells in his comics work. Brian Stelfreeze
Brian Stelfreeze is an American comic book artist. Stelfreeze is a painter, penciller, inker and colorist and has worked for nearly every major American comic book publisher. He is one of the original members of Atlanta's Gaijin Studios. Career Stelfreeze began his career as the artist of the sci-fi miniseries ''CyCops'' in the mid-1980s. While Stelfreeze has been known throughout his career primarily as a cover artist, painting more than fifty cover illustrations for DC Comics' ''Shadow of the Bat'', he's also produced a significant amount of sequential work, most notably of late with the miniseries ''Domino (comics), Domino'' for Marvel Comics and ''Matador (Wildstorm), Matador'' for DC Comics' Wildstorm imprint. Dave Johnson is a comic book artist known for his cover work. For Image Comics he has worked on titles including Erik Larsen's '' SuperPatriot'' and Robert Kirkman's ''Invincible''. For DC Comics he has provided covers to titles such as ''Detective Comics'' and the DC/Vertigo book ''100 Bullets'', for which he won the 2002 Eisner Award for Best Cover Artist. Jason Trent Pearson (August 29, 1970 – December 19, 2022) was an American comic book creator, known for his series '' Body Bags'' and for his dynamic illustration work on books featuring characters such as the Legion of Super-Heroes, Spider-Man, Batman, and Deadpool. He was one of the founding members of Gaijin Studios. Career Jason Pearson's first published comics work was in 1991.
