Scud (born 20 March 1967) is the professional name of Guangzhou, China-born Hong Kong film producer, screenwriter and film director, Danny Cheng Wan-Cheung (). He says that he chose the name "Scud" to match his Chinese name, which translates in English as "Scudding Clouds". His films explore somewhat taboo themes within Hong Kong cinema, including same-sex relationships and drug-taking. His film-making style eschews cynicism or gritty realism, and embraces an acceptance of the life choices made by his characters, rather than a search for "solutions". Zero Chou (; born 24 July 1969) is a Taiwanese director and screenwriter. Life and career Chou was born in Keelung, Taiwan in 1969. Chi Chia-wei
Chi Chia-wei (; born 2 August 1958) is a Taiwanese gay rights activist. In 2020, he was included on ''Time''s list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Activism In March 1986, Chi became the first person in Taiwan to come out as gay on national television, organizing a press conference to announce both his sexuality and his launch of a campaign to prevent the spread of AIDS/HIV. Chi also advocated for recognition of same-sex unions. The KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival (also known as Mumbai International Queer Film Festival and Mumbai International Queer Film Festival) is an annual LGBT event that has been held in Mumbai, India, since 2010. Taiwan International Queer Film Festival
Taiwan International Queer Film Festival (TIQFF; ) is an annual LGBT film festival held each fall in Taipei, Taiwan. Other events are held in Kaoshiung and Taichung.
