Gael Linn Cup 1962
The 1962 Gael Linn Cup is a representative competition for elite level participants in the women's team field sport of camogie, was won by Leinster GAA#Camogie, Leinster, who defeated Ulster GAA#Camogie, Ulster in the final, played at Casement Park Antrim GAA#Camogie, Belfast. Arrangements Ulster defeated Connacht 2–9 to 3–4 at Carrickmacross. Leinster defeated Munster 7–3 to 5–5 in one of the best matches of the year. The Leinster Council is a provincial council of the Gaelic Athletic Association sports of hurling, Gaelic football, camogie, rounders and handball in the province of Leinster. The Leinster Council has been partnered with the European County Board to help develop Gaelic Games in Europe. Leinster Council's main contribution to this goal is the provision of referees. As of 2008, there were 834 clubs affiliated to the county boards of the Leinster Council.
