Kim Yoon-sung (born January 14, 1981), known professionally as Gaeko (, literally ''dog's snout'') is a South Korean hip hop recording artist. The tenth season of the series ''Show Me the Money'' (known as Show Me the Money 10: The Original) premiered on October 1, 2021. It was broadcast every Friday at 23:00 (KST) on Mnet. The season featured four new producer teams Yumdda and Toil, Gaeko and Code Kunst, Gray and Mino, and Zion.T and Slom. This season saw approximately 27,000 applicants, the most in the show's history. The increase in number of contestants joining the show was due to the financial difficulties most rappers faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the lack of in-person concerts, events, and gigs, most of them began to focus on online streaming and web-content platforms which provide minimal income. Amoeba Culture
Amoeba Culture () is a South Korean independent record label established in 2006 by Dynamic Duo and Go Kyung-min. The label is home to prominent artists such as Dynamic Duo, Rhythm Power, and Ha:tfelt. The label had the third largest sales among Korean record labels in 2015. History Amoeba Culture was founded in August 2006 by Dynamic Duo members Gaeko and Choiza, as well as current CEO Go Kyung-min. The label held open auditions in late 2007 in order to expand its roster. In 2008, composer and producer Primary and hip hop duo Supreme Team joined the company. In 2011 the label released a series of toy figurines and started the "AMOEBAHOOD" project to promote exhibits and other cultural art projects. Choi Dong-hoon (born January 31, 1983), better known by the stage name Primary, is a South Korean hip hop musician and record producer. Formerly an artist under Amoeba Culture, he established his own record label PAKTORY Company on April 22, 2020. Primary has collaborated with various artists to produce the albums ''Back Again'', ''Primary Score'', ''Daily Apartment'', ''Primary and The Messengers'', and ''2''. CB Mass (Korean: CB 매스) was a Korean hip hop group composed of members Curbin, Choiza, and Gaeko. They debuted in 2000 with the album ''Massmediah''. The group disbanded in 2003. History Choiza and Gaeko originally met in the sixth grade but before forming CB Mass they began an underground hip hop group named kod along with Sixpoint and ZASON, who joined in 1998. In the same year, Choiza and Gaeko met a fellow rapper Curbin and created CB Mass. The group debuted in 2000 under Drunken Tiger's wing and released ''Massmediah'' to moderate success. In total they produced three albums: ''MassMediah'' in 2000, ''Massmatics'' in 2001, and ''Massappeal'' in 2003. Dynamic Duo ( ko, 다이나믹듀오) is a South Korean hip hop duo that consists of rappers Choiza and Gaeko. Jo Sung-woo (Hangul: 조성우; born December 18, 1989), better known by his stage name Code Kunst (Hangul: 코드 쿤스트), is a South Korean composer and music producer.
