Gadzhimurat Kamalov
Gadzhimurat Magomedovich Kamalov, (russian: Хаджимурад Магомедович Камалов, also spelled Gadjimurat, Gadzhimurad, Khadzhimurat, or Khadzhimurad Kamalov; 11 February 1965 – 15 December 2011) was a Russian investigative journalist and the owner of Svoboda Slova (translated as "Freedom of Speech"), the media company that published the newspaper ''Chernovik''. Kamalov was shot dead in an apparent assassination as his name had been put on a hit list for his reporting on Muslim rebel activity in the Republic of Dagestan, and he had been well known for his reporting on corruption. Mukhu Gimbatovich Aliyev (russian: Муху́ Гимба́тович Али́ев, ; av, Мухӏу Гӏалиев; born August 6, 1940) is a Russian politician who served as the 2nd Head of the Republic of Dagestan, a federal subject of Russia. He was born in the village of Tanusi, Khunzakhsky District, Dagestan ASSR, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. Ethnically, he is Avar. The CPJ International Press Freedom Awards honor journalists or their publications around the world who show courage in defending press freedom despite facing attacks, threats, or imprisonment. The Lada Priora is a compact car produced by the Russian automaker AvtoVAZ since March 2007. It is largely a restyled and modernised Lada 110 and replaced it in 2009. By May 16, 2012, 590,000 Prioras had been produced. Starting model year 2016, the Priora is not available for export market and has been replaced by Lada Vesta (but is still available domestically). Nadira Isayeva or Isaeva (russian: Нади́ра Иса́ева) is a Russian journalist who has been internationally recognized for her reporting on security issues in North Caucasus. Isayeva is editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper ''Chernovik'' (English: ''Rough Draft'') in Dagestan, described by Reporters Without Borders as "Dagestan’s leading independent newspaper".
