Gachibowli Sports Complex
Gachibowli is a suburb of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, located in the Serilingampally mandal of the Rangareddy district. It is situated about 5 km away from HITEC City, another IT hub. Gachibowli is home to numerous tech companies and residential units. It has a vast area and is dotted with rocky surface and hillocks all around. Etymology The word ‘Gachi’ means lime mortar and ‘bowli’ comes from the word ‘baoli’ which means a well. Thus the area ‘Gachibowli’ is named after the presence of a well plastered with limestone. The Outer Ring Road, officially as, Jawaharlal Nehru Outer Ring Road and abbreviated as, O.R.R., is a 158 kilometer, 8-lanes ring road expressway encircling Hyderabad, capital of the Indian state of Telangana. The Asaf Jahi was a Muslim dynasty that ruled the Kingdom of Hyderabad. The family came to India in the late 17th century and became employees of the Mughal Empire. Lime plaster is a type of plaster composed of sand, water, and lime, usually non-hydraulic hydrated lime (also known as slaked lime, high calcium lime or air lime). Ancient lime plaster often contained horse hair for reinforcement and pozzolan additives to reduce the working time.
