Gabrielle Papillon
Gabrielle Strasfeld, known professionally as Gabrielle Papillon, is a Canadian musician and songwriter based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. To date she has recorded seven albums. Career In 2015, she released her fifth album ''The Tempest of Old''. It charted on Canadian national campus radio, CBC Radio 2, and the international iTunes Singer-Songwriter charts and won the Music Nova Scotia Award for Recording of the Year. She also began working with veteran music manager Peter Jenner. She released her sixth album ''Keep the Fire'' in 2017. The album was nominated for three East Coast Music Awards, four Music Nova Scotia Awards, and a Canadian Folk Music Award, winning the Music Nova Scotia award for SOCAN Songwriter of the Year in 2018. Peter Jenner
Peter Julian Jenner (born 3 March 1943) is a British music manager and a record producer. Jenner, Andrew King and the original four members of Pink Floyd were partners in Blackhill Enterprises. Early career Peter Jenner is the son of William Jack Jenner, a vicar, and grandson of Labour Politician Frank Wise. Jenner was educated at Westminster School and Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, where he attained a first-class honours degree in Economics in 1963, aged 20. Appointed as a lecturer at the London School of Economics, after four years he left to manage the then up-and-coming band Pink Floyd. Tom Power (born May 1, 1987) is a Canadian musician and broadcaster, best known as the host of '' Q'' on CBC Radio One, previously the host of '' Deep Roots'' and '' Radio 2 Morning'' on CBC Radio 2. In August 2016, he was named as the permanent new host of ''Q'', succeeding Shad. Based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Power began hosting ''Deep Roots'' in 2008 while he was a student of folklore at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Just 21 years old at the time, he was the youngest host of a national program on CBC Radio since Peter Jennings.
