Gabriel Tamaș
Gabriel Sebastian Tamaș (; born 9 November 1983) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga II club Concordia Chiajna. Tamaș started out as a senior at FC Brașov in the 1998–99 season, and is a journeyman who has since represented eighteen other teams throughout his career. In addition to his native country, he has played in Turkey, Russia, Spain, France, England and Israel, respectively. Tamaș won seven domestic trophies combined with rival sides Dinamo București and FCSB in Romania, with which he had multiple spells, and his honours also include the Israel State Cup and the Israeli Super Cup with Hapoel Haifa. A Romanian international for 15 years, Tamaș totalled 67 caps and three goals for the nation and was chosen in the squad for the UEFA Euro 2008. Asociația Clubul Sportiv Petrolul 52, commonly known as Petrolul Ploiești () or simply as Petrolul, is a Romanian professional football club based in Ploiești, Prahova County, which competes in the Liga I. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. The Eternal derby ( ro, Eternul derby), also called the Romanian derby ( ro, Derby-ul României or ) or the Great derby ( ro, Marele derby), is a Association football, football match between Bucharest rivals FCSB and FC Dinamo București, Dinamo București. The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Romania National Under-21 Football Team
The Romania national under-21 football team, also known as Romania under-21s or Romania U21(s), is considered to be the feeder team for the Romania national football team. This team is for Romanian players aged under 21 at the start of the calendar year in which a two-year European Under-21 Football Championship campaign begins, so some players can remain with the squad until the age of 23. As long as they are eligible, players can play for Romania at any level, making it possible to play for the U21s, senior side, and again for the U21s.
