Gabriel Olaseni
Abodunrin Gabriel Olaseni (born 29 December 1991) is a British professional basketball player for Darüşşafaka Basketbol, Darüşşafaka of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He also plays for the Great Britain men's national basketball team. Professional career Olaseni went undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft. In July 2015, he joined the Miami Heat for the 2015 NBA Summer League. On 23 July 2015 he signed with German club Brose Baskets. On 22 November 2015 he was Loan (sports), loaned to Gießen 46ers for the rest of the 2015–16 season. On 13 July 2016 Olaseni signed with Italian club Dinamo Sassari. On 3 March 2017 he parted ways with Sassari. The next day he signed with French club Orléans Loiret Basket for the rest of the 2017–18 Pro A season. 2019 FIBA Europe Cup Finals
The 2019 FIBA Europe Cup Finals were the concluding games of the 2018–19 FIBA Europe Cup season. The Finals will be played in a Two-legged tie, two-legged format, with the first leg being played on April 24 and the second one on 1 May 2019. The finals were played between Dinamo Sassari and s.Oliver Würzburg. Both teams appeared in their first FIBA Europe Cup final, as well as their first European final. Büyükçekmece Basketbol, mostly known as ONVO Büyükçekmece for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional basketball club based in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul which plays in the Turkish Basketball Super League. Their home arena is Gazanfer Bilge Sports Hall with a capacity of 3,000 seats. History Tüyap Büyükçekmece was founded in 2011, in Büyükçekmece. The team began playing in the TB3L for 2011-12 season. In 2012-13 season, the team promoted to TB2L as a champion. In their first season in TB2L the team finished ninth and they completed the league. Kristaps Porziņģis (; born 2 August 1995) is a Latvian professional basketball player for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is one of the tallest active players in the NBA, standing at tall, and plays both the power forward and center positions. Born in Liepāja, Porziņģis began his professional career with Sevilla in 2012. Porziņģis quickly rose through the team's youth ranks and became the figurehead of the senior team by 2013. EuroBasket 2017
EuroBasket 2017 was the 40th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe and held between 31 August and 17 September 2017. Beginning from 2017, the continental championships take place every four years with a similar system of qualification as for the FIBA Basketball World Cup. Like the previous edition, the tournament was co-hosted by four countries. Games in the group stage were held in Turkey, Finland, Israel and Romania. The knock-out phase was played in Istanbul, Turkey. Slovenia won their first-ever tournament after defeating Serbia 93–85 in the final. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. A loan fee can be arranged by the parent club as well as them asking to pay a percentage of their wages. Association football Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons. 2015 NBA Summer League
The 2015 NBA Summer League consisted of three pro basketball leagues organized by the NBA: the Orlando Pro Summer League, Utah Jazz Summer League, and Las Vegas Summer League. Ten teams participated in the week-long Orlando Pro Summer League at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, from July 4 to 10, 2015. The Memphis Grizzlies won the Orlando Pro Summer League Championship over the Orlando Magic White team, 75–73, on a buzzer-beater floater by Russ Smith in double overtime. The Miami Heat are an American professional basketball team based in Miami. The Great Britain men's national basketball team (also known as GB Basketball or GB) represents Great Britain in international basketball competitions.
