Gabe Molina
Cruz Gabriel Molina (born May 3, 1975) is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) right-handed relief pitcher who played for the Baltimore Orioles, Atlanta Braves, and St. Louis Cardinals between 1999 and 2003. Early life A native of Denver, Colorado, Molina attended Kennedy High School and Arizona State University. In 1994, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League, and returned to the league in 1995, to play for the Orleans Cardinals. Career Baltimore Orioles Drafted by the Orioles in the 21st round of the 1996 amateur draft and signed by scout John Green, Molina began his professional career that year with the Bluefield Orioles. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Delmarva Shorebirds are a Minor League Baseball team based in Salisbury, Maryland. They are members of the Carolina League and the Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Their home games are played at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Calgary Cannons
The Calgary Cannons were a minor league baseball team located in Calgary, Alberta, for 18 seasons, from 1985 until 2002. They were a member of the AAA Pacific Coast League (PCL) and played at Foothills Stadium. The Cannons displaced the Calgary Expos, who played in the rookie level Pioneer League from 1977 until 1984. The team was previously known as the Salt Lake City Gulls before being relocated to Calgary. Following the 2002 season, the team moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they became the Isotopes. Luis Rivera Gutierrez (born June 21, 1978) is a Mexican right-handed former Major League Baseball pitcher. He is tall and weighs . He is currently the manager for the Rieleros de Aguascalientes of the Mexican League. Career Prior to being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Braves in 1995, he attended Sistema Prepatoria Abierta in Telucha, Mexico. He began his professional career in 1996 with the GCL Braves, not playing in American baseball in 1995 because he was loaned by the Braves to the Tigres del Mexico. Fernando José Lunar [loo-NAR] (born May 25, 1977), is a former Major League Baseball catcher who played for the Atlanta Braves (2000) and Baltimore Orioles (2000–02). He batted and threw right-handed. He played minor league baseball through 2007. Career On June 24, 2000, while playing for the Atlanta Braves against the Milwaukee Brewers, Lunar was called for receiving a pitch with his foot outside of the Baseball_field#Playing areas near home plate, catcher's box. Trenidad Aviel Hubbard (born Trent Hubbard' May 11, 1964) is a former Major League Baseball journeyman outfielder. He is an alumnus of Southern University and A&M College. Drafted by the Houston Astros in the 12th round of the 1986 MLB amateur draft, Hubbard made his major league debut with the Colorado Rockies on July 7, 1994 at age 30. He had two plate appearances for the Rockies in the 1995 National League division playoffs. Andy Morales (born December 3, 1974, Ciego de Ávila, Cuba) is a Cuban former professional baseball player. He played third base domestically for La Habana in the Cuban National Series and for the Cuban national baseball team in international play before he defected from Cuba in 2000. Coming to the United States, Morales played in minor league baseball for the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox organizations in 2001 and 2002. In baseball, a home run (abbreviated HR) is scored when the ball is hit in such a way that the batter is able to circle the bases and reach home plate safely in one play without any errors being committed by the defensive team.
