GTA Motor Competición
GTA Motor Competición is a Spanish racing team based in Torrent, Valencia, Spain. History They have competed in many series including Superleague Formula and European F3 Open Championship. Many top drivers have driven for the team including former Formula One driver Jaime Alguersuari. For the 2008 Superleague Formula season the team operated the Sevilla FC and Tottenham Hotspur. They won 1 race in the 2008 Donington Park Superleague Formula round with driver Borja García in the Sevilla car. Its founder, Domingo Ochoa, has also founded GTA Motor, a company which designs and builds street-legal sports cars. Tottenham Hotspur Superleague Formula team was the racing team of Tottenham Hotspur F.C., a football team that competes in England in the Premier League. The Tottenham Hotspur F.C. racing team competed in the Superleague Formula. The Spania GTA Spano is a limited-production sports car produced by Spanish automobile manufacturer Spania GTA, a sister company to GTA Motor Competición. Only 99 units of the GTA Spano are expected to be built. Borja García (racing Driver)
Borja García Menéndez (born 15 December 1982 in Valencia) is a Spanish racing driver. He last competed in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, having last driven for Alex Caffi Motorsport in a part-time effort in 2018. He was the 2004 Spanish Formula Three champion, and raced in the inaugural GP2 Series season. Career Garcia was born in Valencia. His career started in karting in 1993, where he stayed until 1999. He moved up to Spanish Formula Toyota in 2000, comfortably winning the title, before moving to Formula Nissan 2000 in 2001 with the Campos team, who now race in GP2 Series. The 2008 Donington Park Superleague Formula round was the inaugural round of the Superleague Formula championship, with the races taking place on 31 August 2008. Seventeen football teams were represented on the grid, with a win each for Beijing Guoan and Sevilla FC. Superleague Formula
Superleague Formula was an open wheel single seater motor racing formula, which started in 2008, at Donington Park in the United Kingdom. The league introduced team sponsorship by association football clubs. It used the slogan 'The Beautiful Race: Football at 300 km/h'. By 2011 the link with football was fading with more than half the teams no longer associated with football teams. It was founded by businessmen Alex Andreu and Robin Webb. On 19 May 2010, Andreu stepped down in his role as series president, with Alfredo Brisac named as his successor not many weeks later.
