GSW Immobilien AG, formerly Gemeinnützige Siedlungs- und Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Berlin mbH, is a German real-estate company in Berlin. The company invests in residential property and also manages residential and commercial property on behalf of third parties. Originally a company founded and owned by the city of Berlin, GSW was sold to a private equity consortium led by Cerberus Capital Management and Goldman Sachs' Whitehall fund in 2005. The company raised €468 million in an initial public offering on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in April 2011, the year after an IPO attempt failed due to market volatility. Goldman and Cerberus retained an approximate 10% stake each in the company until 2012. GSW Immobilien was acquired by Deutsche Wohnen in 2013, which holds around 98.8 percent of the shares. Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) is a public university in Americus, Georgia. It is part of the University System of Georgia and offers bachelor's degree programs along with selected master's and specialist degree programs. History Georgia Southwestern State University, originally the Third District Agricultural and Mechanical School, was founded in 1906. In 1926, the Georgia General Assembly granted the school a charter that authorized it to become a two-year college and to change its name to the Third District Agricultural and Normal College. The new charter also allowed the school to offer teacher training courses. The State Department of Education granted teacher certification to all students who completed the teacher training program. The Geological Society of Washington is a learned society based in the Washington, D.C. area. God Street Wine
God Street Wine (also known as GSW) is a jam band from New York City. Their music is an amalgam of rock, jazz, bluegrass, funk, psychedelia, pop, Americana, reggae, progressive, and more. The band broke up in 1999 and reunited in 2009. GSW played a significant role in the development of the improvisational jam band scene of the early 1990s. Their earliest days include playing Nightingale's and The Wetlands Preserve in New York City where their contemporaries were The Spin Doctors, Blues Traveler, Jono Manson and the Dreyer Brothers. From their earliest days, fans of the band were known as Winos. This group of dedicated fans would follow them from gig to gig. When their touring base expanded Winos would sometimes drive hours to see the band. GSW was an early adapter of internet marketing, acquiring a domain name and electronic mailing list ahead of many others in the scene.
