GR 12
The GR12 ( Grande Randonnée) is a transnational long-distance hiking trail and leads from Amsterdam via Brussels to Paris. Of the 977 km of the GR 12, 222 km run in the Netherlands, 197 km in Flanders, 212 km in Wallonia and the longest section of 346 km in France. The Dutch part of the trail between Amsterdam and Bergen op Zoom is better known as the Dutch long-distance network as Floris V-pad LAW 1–3.Wandelnet Floris V-pad Route

GR Footpath
The GR footpaths are a network of long-distance walking trails in Europe, mostly in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain. They go by the following names: french: link=no, sentier de grande randonnée, vls, link=no, Groteroutepad, nl, Langeafstandwandelpad, es, link=no, sendero de gran recorrido, pt, percurso pedestre de grande rota. The trails in France alone cover approximately . Trails are blazed with characteristic marks consisting of a white stripe above a red stripe. These appear regularly along the route, especially at places such as forks or crossroads. The network is maintained in France by the ''Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre'' (French Hiking Federation), and in Spain by the ''Federación Española de Deportes de Montaña y Escalada'' (Spanish Mountain Sports Federation). Santiago De Compostela
Santiago de Compostela is the capital of the autonomous community of Galicia, in northwestern Spain. The city has its origin in the shrine of Saint James the Great, now the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, as the destination of the Way of St. James, a leading Catholic pilgrimage route since the 9th century. Senlis
Senlis () is a commune in the northern French department of Oise, Hautes de France. The monarchs of the early French dynasties lived in Senlis, attracted by the proximity of the Chantilly forest. It is known for its Gothic cathedral and other historical monuments. Its inhabitants are called "Senlisiens" and "Senlisiennes". Geography Senlis is situated on the river Nonette, between the forests of Chantilly and d'Ermenonville in the South and d'Halatte on the North. Verberie
Verberie () is a commune in the Oise department in northern France. It lies southwest of Compiègne on the main road to Senlis and Paris. The railway station is on the line from Compiègne to Crépy-en-Valois. The inhabitants are known as ''Sautriauts''. History On 1 October 856 Judith, the daughter of Charles the Bald, King of West Francia, married Æthelwulf, King of Wessex at the royal palace of Verberie. During the First World War it was the scene of fighting on the 1 September 1914, and in 1918. Soissons
Soissons () is a commune in the northern French department of Aisne, in the region of Hauts-de-France. Located on the river Aisne, about northeast of Paris, it is one of the most ancient towns of France, and is probably the ancient capital of the Suessiones. Soissons is also the see of an ancient Roman Catholic diocese, whose establishment dates from about 300, and it was the location of a number of church synods called " Council of Soissons". Amifontaine
Amifontaine () is a commune in the department of Aisne in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France. Geography Amifontaine is located some 20 km southeast of Laon and 40 km northwest of Rheims. The Autoroute des Anglais (A26, E17) passes through the western side of the commune from north to south but has no exit in the commune. Access to the commune is by road D52 from Ramecourt in the northwest through the commune to the village and continuing south-east to Prouvais. There is also road D89 from La Malmaison in the northeast through the village to Juvincourt-et-Damary in the southwest. The D24 road also passes through the north of the commune from west to east forming the southern border of a large forested area extending beyond the northern border of the commune.
