Gio Ponti (foaled February 28, 2005 in Kentucky) is an American Thoroughbred race horse who was the Champion Turf Horse in 2009 and 2010, and finished second to Zenyatta in the 2009 Breeder's Cup Classic. He was sired by Tale of the Cat, a son of Storm Cat, out of the stakes-placed Alydar mare Chipeta Springs, making him half-brother to stakes-winner Fisher Pond. Gio (born Sergio Bermejo Romero, 6 April 1990) is a Spanish singer, actor, songwriter and producer. He started his career singing gospel music in different choirs from Madrid, earlier he becomes one of a member mixband called D-ViNe, who were finalists on the TV show ''Salvemos Eurovision'' in 2008 to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "I Do You". In 2008, he signed with AMZ Records after being seen on television by the director of the record company, but that didn't work. After working as an actor in different shows and writing and producing songs for other artists, Gio was a semifinalist on the TV Show ''Destino Eurovision 2011''. The Ibanez GIO Series is an affordable guitar series produced by Hoshino Gakki (Ibanez), replacing the Cimar line. The GIO guitars are a "first step" model line, similar to Fender's Squier guitars, and Gibson's Epiphone line. Dan is a Southern Mande language spoken primarily in Ivory Coast (~800,000 speakers) and Liberia (150,000–200,000 speakers). There is also a population of about 800 speakers in Guinea. Dan is a tonal language, with around 9-11 contour and register tones depending on the dialect. Alternative names for the language include Yacouba or Yakubasa, Gio, Gyo, Gio-Dan, and Da. The Dan are a Mande ethnic group from northwestern Ivory Coast and neighboring Liberia. There are approximately 700,000 members of the group and their largest settlement is Man, Ivory Coast. Neighboring peoples include the Krahn, Kpelle and Mano. They are officially known as Yacouba (or Yakouba) in Ivory Coast. GIO, is an Australian general insurance provider.
