GBM (video Game Player)
Lee Chang-seok ( ko, 이창석), better known by his in-game name GBM, is a South Korean retired professional ''League of Legends''. He previously played for NRG Esports of the LCS, Team Vitality of the LEC, Jin Air Green Wings and CJ Entus of the LCK, and Galatasaray Esports of the Turkish Championship League (TCL). Playing career 2013 season GBM was picked up by CJ Entus Frost in June 2013 as a mid laner under the name "Ganked by Mom". He played in his first OGN with the team at HOT6iX Champions Summer 2013 and shared playing time with RapidStar. Frost ended the season in fourth after making it to the semifinals and then losing 3–0 to the KT Rolster Bullets and 3–2 to MVP Ozone. Frost earned enough circuit points to qualify for the Season 3 Korea Regional Finals but lost 3–0 in the second round to the Bullets. ''League of Legends'' Champions Korea (LCK) is the primary competition for ''League of Legends'' esports in South Korea. Contested by ten teams, the league runs two seasons per year and serves as a direct route to qualification for the annual ''League of Legends'' World Championship. The LCK is administered in cooperation between Riot Games and KeSPA. The league was formerly named ''League of Legends'' Champions before undergoing a major restructuring in late 2014, which saw a change in the competition's format and a rebranding to its current name. It was divided into spring and summer splits, each consisting of a regular season and playoff stage. Regular season games were played in the Riot Games Studios in Los Angeles, California. Format Teams compete in a double round robin tournament over the course of nine weeks during the regular season, with matches being best-of-three. The top six teams from the regular season advanced to the playoff stage, with the top two teams receiving a bye to the semifinals. The seventh place team qualifies for the next split of the LCS but does not participate in playoffs. The bottom three teams play in a promotion/relegation tournament against the top two NA Challenger Series teams. Playoffs were single-elimination and matches were best-of-five.
